My heart is filled with gratitude. As wife and caregiver, I am happy that my husband is doing exceptionally well in spite of a diagnosis of PSP, a neurodegenerative disease with no cure. His positive attitude and hard work has helped him to improve rather than decline as predicted. It is his gift to me. As a writer, I have used my pen to record this journey in poetry and hope it will help others feel less alone on this path. Yes, my heart is filled with gratitude.
This is SO AMAZING! It's so inspiring what love and the human will can do. And this is one of the best things about poetry: it all makes us feel less alone; it lets us know someone else—and their beating tender heart— is out there. So excited to read some of your work one day <3
Love the poem. Thank you!
Thanks SO MUCH, Thomas:) Appreciate you reading and saying so!
